OH, the Warren - I mean, 9/11 Commission. Well, I guess if the federal government tell you it's true, it HAS to be true. I mean, they wouldn't lie to us, would they?
|
They presented their report and it seemed sound with the appropriate references, which is more than anyone can say for the charges MM makes in his movie re the same.
If you have evidence to the contrary, I'll be happy to read it. |

If you really don't think Michael Moore hates America, you should see The Big One. In it he is always sticking up for the little guy against these giant greedy corporations. He helps some Boarders employees who wish to organize. He tries to comfort a lady who got laid off by Ford Motor Company. He compels the CEO of Nike to stop using child labor in Indonesia. I mean this guy Moore is a total asshole!

Moore is just another propagandist.
I don't hate the man, as it seems his propaganda doesn't seem to matter. |
Hmm, yeah, because the best way to oppose something you see as partisan short-sighted propaganda is, of course, to produce partisan short-sighted propaganda.
|
Micheal Moore should stick to what he's good at....eating.

So your argument is reduced to a cheap shot about the guy's waistline. How mature of you. I guess if you've run out of logical, factual points to support your position, a fat joke is the next best thing. So tell me, what's the 6th grade like these days?
As for facts supporting Moore's statements in Fahrenheit 911, go to michaelmoore.com for a fact by fact list of supporting documentation, records, etc. ________________________________________________________________________ Gimme That Old Time Religion - PAGAN FOR LIFE! |

please do not resort to personal attack
If someone was in sixth grade...we would have already removed them As for the Fat joke: It was a realtively pointless reply though....try to add something...rather than take away |

What MM said in F9/11:
Moore (Fahrenheit 9/11): In the days following September 11th, all commercial and private airline traffic was grounded. The FAA has taken action to close all of the airports in the United States. Even grounding the President's father, former President Bush, on a flight forced to land in Milwaukee. Dozens of travelers stranded, among them, Ricky Martin, due to perform at tonight's Latin Grammy awards. Not even Ricky Martin would fly. But really, who wanted to fly? No one. Except the bin Ladens.
(video of plane taking off... song, "We've got to get out of this place") . . . It turns out that the White House approved planes to pick up the bin Ladens and numerous other Saudis. At least six private jets and nearly two dozen commercial planes carried the Saudis and the bin Ladens out of the U.S. after September 13th. In all, 142 Saudis, including 24 members of the bin Laden family, were allowed to leave the country.
The facts according to FactCheck.org: Notice that Moore drops in the words "after September 13" without explaining the significance of that date -- the day airspace reopened to commercial traffic at 11am. Viewers were invited to believe from all that Moore said before that airspace was still closed, when in fact it was not. That's a false insinuation, but not a false statement. Moore went on to interview a retired FBI agent who stated that "I think it would have been prudent, hand the subpoenas out, have 'em come in, get on the record. You know, get on the record." Perhaps, being retired, that agent wasn't aware that the FBI had interviewed the bin Laden family members. In any case, Moore didn't correct him. Here's the link if you would like to read the entire clarification at Factcheck.org: FactCheck.org |
