Found this interesting...

Quote:

"You got to be able to speak clearly in order to make this world a more peaceful place," Bush said. "You cannot expect to lead this world if you try to take both sides of every position."
...on two behalfs.

1) Isn't ironic that Bush is criticizing others on the way they speak?

and

2) Since when is bush the world leader? Sorry but it's that kind of thinking that got us into this whole mess in the first place.

1. You know what he ment, its not ironic at all.

2. The US is the leader of the Free World. We have made more of the world free over the years, and we continue to do so. Not the French, Germans, or Russians.

1. I donīt think anyone knows what the hell he "ment". Just more oral flatulence.

2. Freedom is a pretty cheap word these days. Catchall phrase to use in front of the TV cameras. The harsh reality is that every day there is less and less freedom and more and more enforced control.
New laws and restrictions are enacted daily. Severely limiting and weakening those few sad liberties that remain. As for the US policy of give you liberty or give you death, maybe they donīt really want your freedom. Maybe freedom is the luxury of deciding for yourself.
Or did I get it wrong? Did you say freedumb?

This should clear up Bush's way with words.

I'd have no problem with a politician who consistently stood up for the one side of the issue he believed in if I didn't disagree with that side almost every time. It's fine to admire Bush for staying the course, but I hate the course he's staying.
