Free Audiobooks of DNC Convention
 

For anyone who wanted to hear (or re-hear) any of the speeches from the DNC convention, the iTunes Music Store now has the Monday and Tuesday speeches available as free Audiobooks. Obviously, you need iTunes to hear it (and to follow that link).

I assume that the Wednesday and Thursday night speeches will be available soon, as well as the RNC convention next month.

This is a great resource for those of us who weren't able to watch or listen to the whole convention. Thank you.

Funny thing I noticed: on the DNC page, they refer to Barack Obama as "State Senator". Not quite...

I've always thought of Apple, or at least their clientele, as being leftist-leaning. If they plan to offer the RNC recordings, my opinion may very well change.

I agree that this is a good resource. I am glad to see that apple is providing these free of charge for people to listen to. Seeing this on iTunes perhaps MIGHT inspire (young) people to get involved.

I too really, really hope that they also post the RNC speeches so that this is actually about educating voters more than just politics

Wow, this is great, thank you. I was hoping I could find a copy of Obama's speech somewhere. Until now I had only found a crappy Real version. I also missed Kerry's speech, so this will be my first chance to hear it.

I'm guessing that since C-SPAN is the provider, iTMS will also have the RNC convention speeches. We'll know for certain in about a month though.
