Actually... the CBC is a great news service. But the best online news service, bar none is the BBC News site.

I don't believe there can or SHOULD be non biased media. Everybody has opinions and news editors certainly do and are very influential on getting them on the air. But I think that media should always have a slant so as to keep the other parties in check. Where I'm from newspapers are being shut down for not complying with the government and in their struggle they are not giving up. Media is a very powerful tool, and there is such a thing as biased but at the same time balanced news.

I think the truth can keep parties in check. I am not saying media should not say anything against either party I am say thing they should say things about both. If they screw up, tell us. Don't hide shit on one side while trying to put the other on blast. It makes the news look unreliable when you point out the others flaws while having skeletons in your own closet.
