How successful would tony blairs 3rd way be in the US

Blair is a member of a former left party who turned it right wing overnight by winning the premiership. Keeping a level of public services and support them further with private money.

How successful would a partially publically funded federal system providing essential services be politically speaking in the the US.

well, isnt that what we basically have?

we claim to be capitalist, but we do have a lot of govt programs running.
