That sounds like a serious answer to me! :)

Obviously, it's a serious topic since it is the highest post in one of the largest states in the country....however, I'm fascinated at what a circus this could become.

Anyone with enough signatures and enough cash is now in the mix. This could be a great civics lesson...and one of the biggest political jokes in recent memory. Now that Springer isn't running, I guess this is our comedy.

This would only be stranger if it were a fictional book.

We need to nominate Capt. Kirk, Spock, maybe Frodo and Gandalf too . . . or anyone who can defeat The Terminator, cause he'll be back . . .

This is all a plot to distract Californians while we come up with a way to sink their fucking state into the ocean....

I'm a Californian and a liberal, and I'm currently of the "State government's so screwed up we should just let it drive itself off a cliff and build something new from the pieces" school. So I'm all in favor of Larry Flynt for governor. I don't want people mad at their government. I want them _ashamed_ of it. Only then will they wake up and ask for real change.

Arnold is so simple that I think he might do things right for us Californians. Take the scandel out of politics and bring my F***ing electric bill back to normal again

If Arnold is elected, I'm moving to Canada. The guy is completely insane. No one even knows what his politics or views are other than the vague "moderate conservative" title the media has tossed around, based on some old, even more vague quotes from him in the past.

The fact of the re-election bothers me even more. Another fine example of Republicans buyiing their way into office. Davis may be no peach, but he hasn't done anything wrong *since* he was legitimately re-elected by the people.

Talk about buying their way into office? How about the fact that Davis spent more money than any Republican on the Republican primary.

Despite having been married to that idiot and sometimes liking the limelight,
she does have a good head on her shoulders.

Main thing I remember about Arianna is her tv spot that conveyed the message of "if you drive a SUV, you support terrorism."

And the fact that she is usually driven around in a limo, which are less fuel efficient than SUVs. But hey, don't let a little thing like reality get in the way of making yourself feel less guilty about being very rich.
