people, could we please keep this civilized? Just because you disagree with someone else, doesn't mean that the other guy is a moron, or doesn't know anything about economics...

Economics is one of the few fields of science where both sides of an argument can be true. Lowering taxes can be good *and* bad for the economy, depending on the rest of the equation. Universal health care can be both good and bad, as can probably everything else governments and/or businesses do.
