I didn't like him when he was suing the Clintons, and I'm a founding member of the VRWC. The man is a egomaniac and will do anything for press.

I work in the media and have had several friends work for him. Maximum amount of time - 6 months was all they could take. Everybody hates this guy.
Take everything he says with a grain of salt, thats just my advice.

yeah but it there's really something behind this, I doubt Bush is really the one pulling strings. Really, he's not even in charge of his own administration.

Connections do matter. Bush knows people who make Cipro, and the White House staff gets priority prescriptions.

Of course, he is the president. All he'd have to do is ask.
