First Sighting!!!!

While walking though a quant little country village, who do you think we spotted? Yup, the big man himself!

So, not quite eight tiny reindeer, he had to settle for a couple of huge Begian drafts:

He looked in rare form, and understandably didn't have much time to stay and chat:

He continued on his long, hard journey, after of course, getting explicit directions to my house:

Merry Christmas everyone.......... :icare:

some good Shots PJ. How did you make the soft halo around the pictures? Merry Christmas

rlynnm 12-24-2005 10:48 AM

That's a bit creepy..just slightly.

I do however like the blurry frame around the pictures.

Brewmaniac 12-24-2005 10:58 AM

Nice pictures! Thanks and Merry Christmas!

Slippery Slope 12-24-2005 04:01 PM

Nice pics. I'd love to see more shots of Santa making his
way around the globe.

Merry Christmas.

Naw, mere humans have to do that. Santa just moves too fast. :D

Thanks, PJ.

Santa stopped by here, just minutes ago, to deliver my gift. I just love his posse. :p

While there are filters that give this sort of effect(although not quite to this degree), that wasn't the case. And since you will NEVER see vasoline make it's way into my camera bag, here's the real lowdown:

Elphaba, thanks so much for that one. That animation may have sealed the deal as far as the Drifters version being better than Bing's.........

Much love to you this Christmas season!

Mantus 12-25-2005 12:26 PM

A nice temporal portal you got there joe. Step though next time!

Joe... you are indeed the best.

Great shots... I didn't get the Digital SLR I wanted for Christmas (I need to have a chat with Santa) so I think I am just going to have to get a Holga and keep it up with my phone...

You are an inspiration my friend.

Frowning Budah 12-25-2005 06:08 PM

Sure puts me in the mood. Merry Christmas!!!!!

Beautiful work pj. Wow, you sure get some nice snow on the right coast. Us left coasters...nada! Is this your D100? Gorgeous colors my friend, and emotional, thoughtful photos.

A fine choice...and still around $20 bucks! There is a newer version that has the cutomizations already added in now, but stick with the original (the 120N) for starters. Seeing your first roll of pro-sized film with square photos is a rush!
