This is the first bench on the way up the Summit Trail at Squaw Peak Mountian Preservation in Phoenix, AZ. Today was my first trip up... only made it about 3/4 of the way, but it's an awesome climb. This tree has been on the southern end of Sanibel Island for many years. I enjoyed visiting it and taking photos of it over the years. This is in fact an Orange Peel.
Ever since I was a teenager I have practiced removing the peel in one piece so that it could be reassembled into the original shape after the orange. Bobby, That's just beautiful. Her hair & clothing is quite stylish for 1967. She stands out by color & light, looking all cosmopolitan in a very rural setting. Your picture also has that aged looked of analog color photos going all wonky magenta. AND lastly, you need to clean your scanner, but i kinda like all the dusty hairy bits - kinda lends to the fact that this indeed was not a photo taken today. :D

Ok I may be treading on this ice with this, but can't we change the rules to include only pictures taken solely for this thread? I mean most of us have taken thousands of pictures over the years so we will all have these suggested pictures. It's turning into "Dredge up old photos 2.0" instead of a scavenger hunt.
I propose the all pictures from here on out need to be recent shots taken for this scavenger hunt. I'm also tempted to ask for another rule that pictures must be taken outside of your house or workplace. Therefore making it a "hunt" for photos. |
