First photos from my new home! - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

For the next three-odd years, I've been torn from miami and thrust into New Jersey. The change of scenery is nice, and I can't wait for the photo ops.

The color hasn't changed much at all yet (and some people say due to the storm systems might not at all, which would kill me), so these pictures aren't great...mostly just a scouting run for when fall really hits, and a little bit of camera withdrawal.

it never occured to me that poison ivy would change colors:

I like this one:

think this one is pretty cool too...if only the leaf was hanging lower:

can't wait to take another shot of this place in peak color:

And a couple of bonus pictures...I stuck the flash card in my computer and saw some old photos that I had forgotten about, here are some:

Here is a (terrible) picture of Katrina as it rolled through Miami (but no one remembers that she came there first):

But every night has its dawn...here are two picture of the sunrise the next morning:

You're an awesome photographer, and I'm jealous of your new home. The bird sihouette looks like it's not even real! Beautiful.

really nice work man, the last two and the red leaves hanging over the water are my favorites.

If you can reach it, feel free to hang a few heavier branches on it to get it where you want it. Still, a nice shot. Great color! With the nice blur of the water, you could likely Photoshop it closer....

Those are some awesome pictures. I agree with you about the red leaves, but it's still great. I've always tried to get a pic similar to the leaf you have in the second picture, but they always look contrived when I do it.
