Even more Spokane pictures
I have almost two hundred photos of my Spokane trip, but I won't bore you all with most of them. I just found another few that I thought might be somewhat interesting to look at, and thought I'd post them. Hope you enjoy.
http://img54.exs.cx/img54/1280/YellowFlower2.jpg This is a not so great macro I took of...well I don't really know what kind of flower/weed it is. I still thought it was mildly ok, so I kept it. http://img54.exs.cx/img54/5179/WillHoldSignsmall.jpg You have to love this guy's sense of humor. He was such a good sport about me taking his picture I even gave him a couple bucks. http://img54.exs.cx/img54/3575/RedFlower2.jpg Yet another macro I'm not sure what this flower is either, my camera couldn't get quite close enough. By the way, all of these were taken by my Canon A80. http://img54.exs.cx/img54/9200/IrisatLake2.jpg These Irises didn't turn out too bad, really. This is next to a pond at Gonzaga. (where after being on their campus, I'd really like to go to) http://img51.exs.cx/img51/2048/SpiralParking.jpg Apparently this parking garage isn't in use anymore, but I thought it looked cool enough to take a picture of. http://img51.exs.cx/img51/2149/SmallerHandofChrist.jpg This is a statue at Gonzaga. Pretty powerful I thought. http://img51.exs.cx/img51/6360/Mailbox.jpg Just a mailbox... http://img51.exs.cx/img51/9/GazeboatGonzaga2.jpg This is another shot of the Gonzaga campus....just goregous I think. http://img51.exs.cx/img51/6900/CapnJuicyssmall.jpg This last one is just a hot dog stand downtown. I just thought that with a name like Cap'n Juicy's, I had to take a picture. Well, that is all for now.  |
in order of your posts, your flowers are:
snap dragons, poppy & some sort of iris. that is a lovely campus. looks like a nice place to kick back & relax for a bit. :) |
that 'hand of christ' statue is a powerful but misleading image. No way in hell can you support the full weight of a human body on the soft fleshy hand; the best way is to drive the spike through the forearm directly below the much stronger wrist bones.
Nice pictures. I have been up to Spokane (only a 80 mile trip or so) several times lately but never have taken pictures up there. |
