Camping

Finally caught up getting all the photos off my camera. Here's some from a camping trip a few weeks ago.

This last one's actually from my stag a couple months ago.

Those are amazing... I am extremely jealous. I especially like the first one, with the embers. I would never have thought to take one quite like that. Thanks for showing them.

I love camping and would love to do it again soon. Your photos brought that great campfire feeling back, looked like you had a good time. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the comments. A good time is always had camping. The huge fire in the last picture was ridiculous. Someone in the group in the middle of the night got it in thier head to see how big a fire they could build. Pretty sure a case or beer or three were involved. It was a Stag party afterall.

haha, I remember dirt biking back a 5 or 10 years ago. I was going through a fairly deep river crossing and had forgotten to bolt on the seat from some previous repairs. Well, the current finally got the better of me and I went down right in the river. I was able to shut it off before it went in so we got it going again without too much trouble, but the seat in the fall had floated off downstream. I spent the next hour riding around standing up looking for it. Finally found it on the far side of the river and spent another hour or so trying to fish it over (literally). Was a great day all in all.

As for 'seeing' the rockies from Alberta. There actually are a lot of mountains in Alberta. But from the flat lands of Alberta, I agree, it's great scenery to have the mountains as a backdrop.

Hmm... I think my friend lived in Claresholm for a time.

Alberta is so beautiful. Hopefully I'll get out there again someday.
