the dragonfly is neat...
|
those are nice, mrbuck.
insects are so interesting to look at up close. alas, the only insect photo i have is this one of a mere housefly. i thought it was entertaining that he decided to park himself upon a can of RAID insect killer. <img src="http://www.hasfurrychildren.com/yayhooray/photos/flyspray.jpg"> |
i can only see the first pic, other two are rex's :(
Sadly its to cold here for any insects to be active, give em 3 more months. |
That fly shot is great!

Here are a few pics I've taken of 'sects ...

That third one is my favorite.
A+. |
sapper nicely dun. I really like the third one as well. What kind of camera is that you use?
Mr b |
Wow, those are some really good pics. Are these taken with a digital or SLR camera? The colour in those is fantastic.
|
I personally LOVE Mr b's third photo - perfect depth of field + composition. Nice vibrant colors too!!
The first two of my pictures were taken with my Canon 10D (digital SLR). The third with my 3rd digital camera - a Canon G1. I have to admit - every time I look at the bee in photo #3 .. I can't help but laugh. When I think about it - I seriously need a macro lens for my SLR! I shoot macros with my 75-300mm lens right now - from a distance of 1.5m !! |
love them pics, esp the dragonfly

The very first picture I took with my 70-300mm "macro" lens. Out on the screen on my back patio.

And another... a few minutes later. This was my second lens and I still hadn't grasped the DOF thing. My starter lens was a 17-35mm.

And a bee with a little more color. I took this right near the continental divide (in Montana) when I visited there in Sept.

Nice pictures! Here are two of mine. The first one is a tiny bug from Nevada.. picture has been cropped, not resized.*
