Spider macro shot
My wife noticed this little guy on a bouqet of roses that were on the kitchen counter. He must have hitchhiked from the florist.

that is.. such an amazing picture! How did you take it? If you would so be kind to share with us :-p
Nicely done. Nice job on the field of depth.
What equipment did you use? |
Thanks for all the nice comments. This photo was taken at a distance of about six inches (15 cm) under flourescent light with a Canon EOS10d. The lens is a Canon 100mm f/2.8 macro that is an absolute joy to use. The spider is some type of crab spider and he was about the size of a small shirt button.

insanely creepy, yet very artisitc....great detail, beautiful shot.
Cool pic. I've taken some macros of the same species of spider. Mine weren't that clear though.
Very good indeed. And the spider matches the flower wonderfly.
It is amazing the world a macro opens up. Nice job.
