Columbia Tower, Seattle WA
I'm not sure what it is about this tower that I like so much. Maybe its the color, or the height. Its the 'tallest building by number of floors (76) west of the Mississippi River' courtesy of: link
These are 4 of my favorite pics I've taken of the building. http://www.biophase008.com/art/photo...008_colu03.jpg http://www.biophase008.com/art/photo...008_colu01.jpg http://www.biophase008.com/art/photo...008_colu02.jpg the most recent Taken from the opposite side (sorry about the size): http://www.biophase008.com/art/photo...columbia04.jpg |
Wow that is very aesthetically pleasing. I can see why you like it. Thanks for the view.

that is some awesome architecture, ya don't usually see inverted curves like that in highrises, I'd like to see more from that architect :)
that last picture looks like a poster or some sort of advertisement for the building, nicely done  |

Thanks a lot everyone.
One thing I'd like to eventually do is get some pictures from the top/close to the top. I'm pretty sure theres an observation deck, but I think its only for employees. Too bad my uncle's not in that building anymore. |
Hmmm crap. Im a loser.. I havent even seen that troll. lol.
I dont even remember that tall building... Theres another one there, has more going on, and I find it really interesting. I always take pics of it, but for some reason I cant find any :( |
Very nice :)

These are some good pictures. The Columbia tower is visually imposing, and pretty cool. I just moved from North Seattle to the edge of the Central District, and I get a good shot of the top several stories of the Columbia tower. Awesome view :)

That's very cool!
My ex-girlfriend used to work in that building, & we got to go up to the top. It's pretty awesome...even though visibility was poor that day. |

|
Its been up since 1985.
Thanks again for all the comments :) |
