Fall colors on Mt. Hood
Having had a dry summer and since the majority of our trees are Evergreen, we didn't get a lot of natural fall color this year in Oregon. But on my way down the east side of Mt. Hood, I came around a bend in the road and saw this sight.

You know, I've always been one to think, if it's not a palm tree, it ain't sh*t. I guess I'm mellowing out as I get older... great photo. :)

I keep telling myself some year I'll go snowboarding on Mt Hood in August.

I used to train at Mount Hood in the summers. Went with a group of people in 1997 and 1999. Awesome place to train. I had the privilege of observing U.S. Ski Team members.
