A couple from the cottage
These were taken with my Canon D30 using the bog standard 28-105 US Canon lense. ISO 100, however the other settings I forget.
This one may or may not be too dark. It looked fine on my TiBook, but on my PC it's exceptionally dark. There is actually more stuff in the background. It was taken at night using the flash. I just like how the rest of the tree has faded into nothingness. http://music.tinfoil.net/images/pics/cottagemaple.jpg This one is a shot of the sky reflecting off the river, no flash. http://music.tinfoil.net/images/pics/skriver.jpg This is my first attempt at posting here. I really dropped the resolution to go easy on my already significant bandwidth bill heh. |
The second one in particular looks like it may be really interesting. I wish I could see it. Can you adjust the gamma for PC monitor settings?
|
Ok, I have adjusted the gamma for PC... Wierd, I wouldn't have thought the jump from Mac to PC would be that huge. Unfortunatly, I was unable to adjust the parent image as I forgot the camera at work.

Thnk´s!
nice pictures. I especially like the atmosphere of the first one. (viewed on PC with standard monitor, not TFT) |
My wife took the first one. She went to school for photography (but is now an accountant, go figure) so she was showing me all the neat tricks one can do with a cam like the D30. It was a learning experience for both because it is the first time she really used a digital cam... My A70 just isn't enough for her I suppose.
