Camera Phone Pictures
 

I recently got a new camera app for my phone (Vignette for Android, for those who are curious) and have been having some fun with it.

The pictures are intentionally low quality with lots of noise, which is quite a change from the Digital SLR I am used to. The effects make for some interesting photos. Here are a few I have taken:

Wow man those look so cool i feel like i am looking at pictures in the family bible. Just another reason i cant wait for my current contract to be up so i can get me a droid. Those are amazing.

Nobody else has any cool photos to share?

Nothing special just a lizard i came across the other day.

I've downloaded the trial version of Vignette and it's fun. If I find myself using it a lot, I will pay for the upgrade. The free version limits the frame size, but it's still higher res than my first digital camera, which cose £150!

Looking back, I never realized this, but this has to be the most perfectly exposed picture I have gotten with my phone. It obviously took lots of light, but this one came out great!

I got some pretty good shots last week with my crappy little 1.5mp phone, but that bird from the Flintstones is still working on the rock tablets..........

Clouds on the pitch. I work for a university and found myself at the university's rugby fields one day (shocking, I know). The clouds were pretty so I took a pic.

This was the same day I was taking pictures of the Woman of the Match Tiki in various places around town. Ha ha ha...look what's in her mouth.... Oh I am SO FUNNY!

The cloud pic doesn't look that grainy on my phone. Oh well...can't expect much from a camera phone.

Hey, you can see the nuclear reactor on campus in that picture. Neat!

Picked up the latest batch of prints, including the Disneyland ones above. The "Greetings" one came out great in both 5x7 and 8x10. Never imagined that I could make an 8x10 print of a cell phone picture!
