Safari Results - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

While in Florida this past month, I've been taking photos of almost all of the wildlife I encountered. Granted, I didn't go on a real safari, but my labmate and I wandered down some awesome dirt paths through the lagoons of the Space Coast in our rented mini-van.

Armadillo

Random birds

Vulture

Alligator

Tortoise

I wish that I had gotten a photo of the young panther that we glimpsed in the palm forest by the Canaveral National Seashore. It was speedy, and I was too dumbfounded to grab the camera.

Awesome pictures, Gators are amazing to see up close.

you got lucky. panthers are quick and you hardly ever see them around anymore.

oh and if you want a "real" safari while your here you could head down to West Palm and check out lion country safari I went there with my brother and his family last year and I think I had way more fun than the kids.
