It is like I've been here before
Manic panicked, so it seems I'm here back again.
I went to my homeland. It is a small town in Kazakhstan where I haven't been for 8 or 9 years. Not sure they missed me so much :) Here are some random shots. I still don't know what can I do here except taking pictures, listening to Svarte Greiner and a kind of working out in a random gym. Their new mosque. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2427/...e56380.jpg?v=0 It says: "Household stuff repairing" or something like that. And don't even ask why there are these minaret things. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2464/...c08562.jpg?v=0 It's... uhm... When I was child I hated this train very much. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3391/...092944.jpg?v=0 http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3338/...64cb6d.jpg?v=0 Behind our food market. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3591/...7e13ef.jpg?v=0 I suppose it is a bull. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3302/...33b89b.jpg?v=0 This word, "Tokta" means "Stop" in kazakh language. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3610/...b72754.jpg?v=0 Local friend portrait. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2622/...c3928a.jpg?v=0 Wait, this looks better. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2669/...f6bd33.jpg?v=0 |
Nice shots. Thanks for coming back. These are superb.
Not really relevant, but still: Also intriguing to see that you can embed a link from a flickr page into the photo, 'cause every time I try to wrap a [URL] onto an [IMG], it whacks out harshly. How'd you do it; does it involve trackbacks or, did you turn off the "automatically embed media" box? |
Thank you )

Good to see you back, Nettuno,
I'm still jealous of your colors - 1,2, and 3 especially. The train shots just feel like home. Nice work. You'll have to send me some film recommendations (again.) |
