I need to scoot for awhile though,
the dog needs to go out and play in the 7 inches of snow we received yesterday.

Love the patterns in concrete, ring.

the concrete pictures strike a particular chord...kind of a chilling, foreboding chord.

I am very fond of the first image.
The sun was setting....a minute later, the light rays were gone.

To offset the ice/snowstorm going on right now,
I am thinking of Spring and the chance to garden once again.

very nice, especially given the harsh light in some of them, which you've managed to turn into a nice effect.

I also like the first snow picture up there...what is that? the entrance to a tunnel?

The first pic is an old old train, or road tunnel no longer used, high up in the mountains of Washington.
The second pic is the entrance of a tunnel, still in use, in Pennsylvania.

( I have traveled the US, by train, many times over the years.)

I have been searching for the negative.
I want to see this full frame. 1992?

That first shot in the rural set, was taken from a crane.

Having the camera in hand gave me a focus to overcome my sheer dread of heights.

Spelunking is still on the 'never' list.
