Hehe... I tell you what... if you make it to California, I'll take you up. That is... assuming I'm licensed in the next few months. ;)

way to go...love trains....swell colors....xoxoxoo

The second shot is the best, great depth and clarity. The vignette really brings out the light and color.

Nicely done.

I'm doing the FAR/Part 61 training, so it's not exactly a structured curriculum. The difficulty is just getting the time in. I try to fly once a week, but really haven't been that successful on this schedule. Between my instructor's schedule, my schedule, the aircraft maintenance/inspection schedule, and weather, I typically fly every couple of weeks. I've been at this for ten months now, and just starting on the solo cross-country training.

Major talent, fantastic images! I really like two and five.

More terrific images, fnaqzna. I miss the skies out there. I've never seen skies so gorgeous and wide open and inviting in my life.

I really like the 5th - the railroad track.

what lens/body are you shooting those with?

Thank you. All were shot with a Nikon D50 and a Tokina 12-24mm f/4 lens.

You using a polarizer? Or getting that lovely blue sky and cloud contrast with post processing?

No polarizer. The lens can account for most of that blue color. I push it a bit further in post processing.

My Nikon really loves blues and greens...I find.

Lovely, lovely, beautiful shots as always. I especially like the train tracks. I love receding lines.
