Whale Watch
We went on a whale watch today out of Plymouth(MA) harbor. Got a good chance to try out the new camera (Nikon D40).
I have had trouble posting pics in the past. I hope this works. Yes, that is a whale's dorsal fin below the boat. I blew the pic up at home. The kids in the bow look bored. http://lh5.ggpht.com/DPerryRN/SK3iN2...JPG?imgmax=800 -----Added 21/8/2008 at 06 : 31 : 17----- http://lh4.ggpht.com/DPerryRN/SK3iOi...JPG?imgmax=800 -----Added 21/8/2008 at 06 : 33 : 00----- This one was about 100 yards or so from the boat. http://lh6.ggpht.com/DPerryRN/SK3iQj...JPG?imgmax=800 Going for a deep dive. http://lh4.ggpht.com/DPerryRN/SK3iTO...JPG?imgmax=800 -----Added 21/8/2008 at 06 : 35 : 15----- http://lh4.ggpht.com/DPerryRN/SK3idi...JPG?imgmax=800 http://lh6.ggpht.com/DPerryRN/SK3ieI...JPG?imgmax=800 Only saw a few Minke whales, nothing else. Wasn't the best trip but it was fun none the less. |

Such majestic creatures, I would love to go whale watching too!
These are amazing pictures! My mom used to take her second graders whale watching, but I was always in school when she went. I remember in 1st grade we raised money to adopt one. |
