I don't remember what kind of fish this is. It was taken at the Denver Aquarium a little over a week ago.

If you're wondering about the blackish area around the top right, I had to blur/smudge/blacken it out a little because my reflection was in the glass. Dammit. :mad:

But anyways, the rest of the photo is unedited. There was sunlight hitting right smack onto this fish which enabled it to show off it's multitude of colors. Absolutely perfect IMO.

Sure looks like a tarpon to me.

An Arowana?

Definitely an arowana. A colour variant from SE Asia; chlli red, X-back red...tough to say w/o a full body shot. It's crazy what one would pay for one of those. I saw a 12" AAA grade "Violet Fusion" selling for $15KCDN. The colouring was just incredible.
