Baby clothes!

Can't stop buying the darn things. Kid is still 3 months plus away but can't seem to walk through a mall without picking up a sleeper or t-shirt or something.

Look, people, I don't even look at electronics and power tools anymore. I need help!

Congrats on the future munchkin!! What's worse is when you don't know what you're having and having to buy everything in each color just in case hehe

Yeah - the ultrasound said "girl" fairly clearly but still hedging the bets a little. Only one pink outfit bought and my wife did go and buy rather girly bedding, but otherwise we're buying white, yellow, green, kinda neutral stuff.

Congrats -- and enjoy the clothes while you can as they only get more expensive.

Just remember - don't buy too many newborn outfits !

When my first daughter was born, I went absolutely crazy, I couldn't believe how many little pink frilly things I found. But . . . she never fit them! I take that back - she wore one nightgown on her way home, after that she had graduated to the next size up. Left me with a huge box full of unused stuff. Luckily, I was able to give the rest to the hospital nursery, so at least they didn't go to waste.

Along the same note - watch the amount of newborn diapers you buy as well.

Congratulations on what can only be considered the craziest and grandest ride of your life!

I loved onesies. They were so convenient. Not all that useful on a 21-month old, however.

Remember that clothes are just the tip of the iceberg. Wait until you start buying toys. Yikes!

Today it's clothes -- tomorrow it's Legos or bikes or something. I know for myself that I don't have anything else better to spend my money on! Just make sure they get to waer those clothes, because in an instant they outgrow them

Onesies rock!! Most versatile clothes you can have, for a newborn. Oh, the fancy frilly things are nice, and oh so much fun to buy. But realistically, the kids gonna get so much more use out of onesies.

Actually, this clothes buying obsession hasn't stopped for me. I still get a kick out of taking my girls (aged 4 and 10) to the shopping centre and picking them up something new. I spend more money on clothes for them than I do for me. And having two girls works well for hand-me-downs. Am I turning them into clothes-horses? Why, yes, I believe I am!

Oh geez, we'll get a few hundred bucks off one of my overtime checks and my wife will innocently go "shopping" and spend it ALL on clothes and toys on my two daughters ( 2 and 6 years old ).

The really sad part is I can't get mad. I'll PRETEND to get mad at it, but really, with lego, toys, clothes, and ONE LOOK from my daughters I'll fold.

Oh good God why couldn't I have sons?
