Thoughts on a Hooters wet-nap
Usually they have something like "The early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese" but this week I got...
"The only difference between a rut and a grave is the depth." A table of 6 Trivia conetstants could not figure our any specific meaning in this. Perhaps you can help? -edit: sorry for the typo |
I think you meant 'depth', I hope that's how Hooters spelled it.
Being 'in a rut' means doing the same thing, day in, day out, boring. A rut is shallower than a grave. If you are in either, you aren't experiencing life. |
Sounds like you need some more knowledgable trivia contestents. :P

I just feel that I'm still missing something. We got the "being in a rut is the same as being dead" part, but why? Why put it on a wet-nap? I guess we didn't find it funny or relevant to anything. Maybe we needed a few more beers.

It is a philosophical statement. Get out and do something different, or you might as well be dead. Why not pick up a Hooters waitress on the way out?
|
Well, "rut" is also slang for fuckin'... which puts an interesting spin on it... for the necrophiliacs, anyway.
