Illness brings out the halo........
 

I know this may sound crazy, but when my son gets sick, he turns into the sweetest, cuddliest, quietest angel. Part of my really takes advantage of his sweetness and cuddling when he is sick, not that I like him being sick at all. But if you spent one day with him when he is feeling fine, you would see why I say this.
He is 4 this coming Tues. and is all boy, completely charged, always playing with his sword/lightsaber, wanting me for something every 5 minutes, hardly wants to cuddle anymore, whining about everything I say No to..........*sigh* it is nice sometimes, but I do start to miss the lil devil in him when he's sick!

My mohter always says, "there is nothing as wonderful as a sleeping child." There is something about the calm that is so angelic. Enjoy!

I get the same cuddles when the girl child shuns the boy in play. He hugs and cuddles for comfort. Sagan is only two, but has the same "all boy" attitude so these moments are much enjoyed.

My daughter is so full of energy always. Even when we cuddle to read she is constantly moving. She came down with a cold this weekend and all she did was cuddle all day Sunday. It was sweet even though I felt bad for her.

My son always, every day kisses and hugs me out of his own will, and wants me to cuddle with him every night, but sometimes when he wants to cuddle and it's late, I have to say No.
He also said "I lova you" out of the blue, which is also so wonderful. But, besides that, he's on his own and doesn't cuddle during the day anymore. I cherish every kiss, hug, smile, "i lova you" and cuddle that we share.

My son is 9 and while he is extremely cool he will still crawl up onto my lap, give me a kiss and cuddle...

It's at times like that that I remember his is still just a little boy...

My son is 4 today- but came down with Scarlet Fever and Streap Throat. Oh, my. What a day for him. He had to get a shot at the Dr.s and has been really mellow. He's feeling good at the moment, because of the Advil, but when he's not well, he is miserable. Poor guy.
