Give meaning

Hey all

I just have one simple question, what gives you meaning and justification in your meaningless lifes?

p.s people who would like to say "God gives me meaning" refrain from doing so please.

What is wrong with my question?

It's relevant to the forum.

Meaning to my life comes from the understanding that I am here to grow my soul, thus creating justification for the turmoil and pain I must deal with. The more I deal with now, the further that which is eternal will have progressed towards enlightenment.
I understand that taking an easy path will not allow for experience and growth, thus tough times are welcomed and embraced when encountered, pleasant times are simply enjoyed.

There is no "meaningless" experience in life.

Poor Ronta, member for two months... finally tests the waters and starts posting... and is banned within 3 posts.

I guess the TFP won't be giving him meaning and justification in his meaningless life.

I agree. I question that as well. Maybe we misinterpretted what she was asking?
That does not necessarily mean we can assume that she was being offensive or rude.
It could be a very valid question, in the big picture. As though she was referring to a majority of humans not being happy with their lives or questioning it. Just a thought, could have given her a chance.

You would think people under 18 would make it a point to not post their age and get an auto-ban...

*first rule of a new forum* read the FAQ

I feel that sentiment is so very true, and try to embrace the tough times myself. It's a conclusion that took a while for me to reach though, but I do think all experience has value. This view certainly helped get some much-needed perspective into my life.
