I just read Chasing Elvis, a new fiction book published by Invisible College Press. They put out a lot of conspiracy books. The Elvis book is very funny. In 1982, five years after Elvis' death, an Elvis impersonator robs and bank. A detective is hot on his trail but is killed in a wreck right before he confront the robber. Twenty years later, the detective's daughter is a tabloid reporter assigned to cover an Elvis festival. She discovers her father's notes and is quickly back on the trail of the robber. She follows the clues and eventually finds the robber. The plot is very clever and has many twists and turns. There are excerpts at invispress.com, the publisher's site.
