Questioning the official version: Murrah Federal Building Bombing (OKC)
Quote:

this version splits it up, has a few more documents, and includes the Tabs (images) referred to in the document. Basically, the official version couldn't have happened. Due to insufficient evidence, I do not support theories that the bombing was carried out to silence witnesses to crimes committed by Clinton, or to shut up people who knew too much about Waco. |

I think that too many people have watched Demolitionists on Discovery and think that ANY collapsing building has to have been brought down by demolition charges. Having grown up as the son of an industrial manufacturing engineer and my best friend who is also one, I can easily dismiss those conspiracy arguments by simple physics and knowledge of material stress.

Did you read the whole report? It seems to be quite accurate, and I have heard the author referred to as an expert on explosives. He takes into account the pressure that would have been created by the blast if the explosive charge had been optimally shaped, and goes on to explain why there simply wasn't enough pressure on the structure to cause the damage that occured.

I did read a majority of it and will read the rest later tonight.
When I stood in Times Square watching the smoking towers and I saw the first one starting to fall. First thing that came to my mind was that they had decided that they couldn't put out the fires and they just demo'd the building via charges in order to keep it from collapsing and to "save" the second building. I do reserve a bit of doubt space for the OKC bombing being more than what it was, but like I said, my mind easily can understand that it's reasonably possible to play out like it did without any conspiracy. I'm predicting that I'll have that same doubt space, but it may have increased to accommodate his findings. |

I have long believed that there was a Middle East connection to the OKC bombing. and, if you read and/or listen to what Jayna Davis has to say... you will too!
1. check out her website... http://www.jaynadavis.com/ 2. read her book The Third Terrorist : The Middle East Connection to the Oklahoma City Bombing here's a snippet of a spotlight review In short, Ms. Davis has proof (beyond reasonable doubt, in my professional and personal opinion) that a former Iraqi soldier (probably a former member of Saddam's Republican Guard) named al-Huseini helped plan and execute the bombing, and accompanied McVeigh IN THE VEHICLE as he pulled the Ryder truck in front of the fated Murrah Building on April 19, 1995. Davis' extensive interviews document the other Iraqi collaborators as well, and "connect the dots" not only to the OKC bombing, but to the later terrorist attacks on America as well. 3. listen to the August 4th archive of the Coast to Coast program (Streamlink membership required). recap of show Investigative journalist Jayna Davis shared startling evidence that Terry Nichols and Timothy McVeigh did not act alone in the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing, and had connections to terrorists from the Middle East. A number of men settled in Oklahoma City, that she described as "false defectors" from Iraq, and Davis believes that McVeigh was targeted to team up with them because they shared a common hatred of the U.S. The "third terrorist" who was seen with McVeigh was identified by Davis as an Iraqi sleeper agent who she said lacked an alibi for the morning of the bombing. Though he sued her over the accusation, a court ruled in favor of Davis. She also outlined an alarming connection between Nichols and al Qaeda agents working out of the Philippines. And yet when Davis said she took her voluminous amounts of evidence and witness testimony to the FBI, they initially refused to accept her documents. Later, in 1999, when they took her materials to be used in the court case against Nichols, her "documents simply disappeared" and were not used in the trial. One of the reasons Davis believes her evidence wasn't incorporated was that the Justice Department wanted to present McVeigh and Nichols as masterminds rather than mules. She predicted that the next terrorist attack in the US will probably be a "softer target" such as a theater, hospital, or shopping mall and like the Oklahoma City bombing, will take place in Middle America. |
