Dream Log

Since I have vivid dreams every nite, I'm considering writing down what happened each nite, and then to see if any of it ever happens in real life, as I have thought it has happened before.

Anyone done/heard of this?

I try to write down as much as I can recall in the morning. When I read through it, I notice clear and distinct patterns forming, but nothing "mystical" - whatever is bothering me, or is on my mind at the time, is what usually ends up in dreams.

Its still a fun thing to try. Give it a shot!

i write down all of my dreams, but i only remember the one's i wake up during (the bad ones, in other words). of course, i keep a journal of anything that happens to me out of the ordinary (not like ghosts and shit, like "i fell over today" or "i got in a fight"). i've never had any sort of premonition from a dream, but i do believe that other people can.

With the dreams he must have it's a wonder that he ever falls asleep.

Okay, so I've started to do this, the only problem now is getting to sleep lol.

Wow, my dreams are really interesting, I've noticed that they include a lot of info I take in during the day- maybe the day before or a week before, and it mixes it all into one.

I had a dream last night where I was wandering around naked. Then it started hailing and it really hurt. Then I went to the bus stop outside my workplace and got shelter in there. That was my entire dream.

I have stupid dreams.

very rarely do I have dreams that I remember and the ones i do have seem to be very boring(ie no ninjas):)

Writing down and remembering dreams is a good way to start doing this

QuasiMojo 03-16-2004 11:23 PM

I had a dream last night about Viggo Mortenson.
he looked old and, well, quite unattractive....

ariekitten 03-23-2004 11:00 PM

most of my dreams are bad.....so i don't like writing them down.....
but the ones that i find interesting (out of the few i can remember when i wake up) i will write down for later reference, or just for analysis....
i had a dream where i killed js with a click pencil.....and when i woke up i was really freaked out for a good while.....

but that lucid dreaming concept is so cool....i heard from someone (dunno if it's true or not) that when you know you're dreaming and can control your dreams, then it means you are actually having an out of body experience. who knows.

Man, I love my dreams, I should start writing them down too.

I haven't had a nightmare in years either.
