I know there is someone in my house
I know very well that there is someone in the house other then my family and it doesnt bother me what so ever.
Little things that my mom has told me that shes experience with someone coming in her room and sitting on the foot of her bed. My grandmother telling me that someone bounces the foot of her bed and moves things in her room. I myself have had things moved and disappear for a period of time only to find them return in the place I knew that I had left them in the first place. What I want to know is if animals have a 6th sense thing on a higher level then humans. I have been watching my cats and out of the blue they would start playing with apsolutely nothing or atleast nothing that I can see. They would go running from one room to another and jump over well nothing. My cats do this really odd thing where they would be sitting on the floor and something would catch their eye. Its like anyone would watch a car go by in front of them only my cats are sitting watching something walk upstairs and as soon as whatever it is gets out of their sight they go back to sleep lay down or go get something to eat. I was just wondering if anyone else that has pets and supernatural happenings notice that the animals act differently. |
I think cats are weird as a rule, although usually endearingly so. Dogs, as much as they can and will bark at almost anything, rarely actually get freaked out. When your dog starts growling or whining for no apparent reason, or refuses to cross an arbitrary barrier in your home, then it's time to start getting suspicious, IMHO.
I don't necessarily doubt that there's an "additional family member" in the house, it's just that I wouldn't recommend using a cat as a litmus ;). |
My cats chace things that arn't there too, I thought I had a ghost or something as well, turns out that my cats are just retarded... I wouldn't trust cats when using them as spiritual dousing rods as far as I could throw them...which turns out to be pretty far...(just tested it...;))

My freind has cats that haul ASS from his room down the hallway through the kitchen into the living room and run strait the hell into the wall at LIGHT speed and smash their heads.
Bottom line......cats ARE retarded. |
I can attest to the dog thing. My house had some weird occurences in it back in the day when my mom and her siblings all lived her. My aunt told me there were times when her dog that was all adoring and that would sleep with her in her bed, would not set foot into her room when called or dragged.

My dog barked at the ceiling fan for a couple of days. Never did it before, hasn't done it since. He would look up at it and then start barking. I think animals, in general, have a higher tuned sense of the spiritual than we do. We just chalk it up as various deceased family members coming to say hello. It doesn't bother us at all.

i think that animals are certainly more perceptive than we are, but then again, I think that our inputs are rather limited...
(can you tell from my language than I'm an engineer?) |
My dog knows when it's time to go outside to pee or poop and also knows when it's time to meet the bus when My children come home from school. My cats know when it's time to get fed and will not leave me alone until I feed them.
I know I'm being a smart-ass here. Please excuse me. I can talk with my animals, and they with me. Not in english, mind you, but we communicate in a very rudimentary way, because I pay attention to how they communicate. I had problems with my cats until one day, outloud, I told them that I wanted to be their friends and I wanted them to be my friends. Since that day, they have become considerably more affectionate and attentive, as have I. I also asked them to be friends to the dog and asked the dog to be friends to them and now they all curl up and sleep on each other. It's really quite amazing. But not magical. If there is someone in your house, tell them to leave. Whatever you do, don't invite something you cannot see to stay. That is just poor judgement. should you do that, expect your cats to treat you like you're nuts and no longer to be trusted. |
