There's a new spirit in my life.
 

I felt him early this morning about 5 am, when I got homr from a friend's house. I got this vision in the back of my mind of some weird lookin' dude... was kind of curious what it meant.. then i started to get the "chills"... and then they quickly focused on my mind.. instensely. I was speaking with my mom about this before, I know I should because its just too much for her to take in, but I mentioned how I wondered where the demons went that once resided here. But from that, they are no longer here. I think I have a newcomer. My senses have been down, but this one really tried to get my attention, and got it. I spoke to it and just let 'em know that I didn't hate him nor what he was attempting too do. Felt like he was trying to get in my head... so I figure him to be a new demon sent to mess with me. But yeah, I let him know that I'm still giving him respect regardless what tricks are done to 'provoke' me. That He'd only lose that respect if he did something worthy of it.. and doing it because "da boss" said too, isn't worthy enough for me to give up on someone. The sensations got a little weird after that... not so much probing.. not a lot... of anything. Did he realize that he couldn't do anything? Did Satan pull him back down? or did he hear me when I alerted him that God will still easily accept him if he runs from the fear satan tries to instill in him? I don't really know, but he disappeared.. I went to the bathroom and haven't noticed him since. Just curious where all these spirits are going.. I meet them, but then.... they're no longer there.. its Interesting to say at the very least.

Perhaps it just gave up and went back..

Well, first of all, there are no "demons". There are only spirits- one who are content, who wish to help and guide you, and ones who haven't made it to the other side yet, basically lost in the in-between dimension, who still thinks they are or should be where you are- still alive in human form- and are confused. So they take that confusion and can cross over into anger, because they don't understand why you are in their territory.
All I can say is help them see the light to cross over to, that it is okay, there time here has passed and more lies ahead for them, that they should not be afraid. Be straightforward, yet kind- and they will eventually leave.

I disagree Oshnsoul. There are definently negative forces out there in the world. Demons fit in on the spirit chain, but they are definently bad news. Ever culture and religion has room for these malevolent(sp) forces. I look at it has a balance there is Good and Evil. Ghosts are the ones who haven't made it to the other side, and they aren't bad. Then from there you got the Good and evil thing. Angels which were created, and good spirits like the guides you mentioned... those that have passed on. Same for the bad really. I suppose it is all relative to your believes though.

Me personally I don't mind them Good or bad, aslong as they keep their distance.

I'm sorry but I have to completely disagree with you. I have had much contact with the world of spirits. There are 3 forces really. These forces can be broken down into different sub categories.

The first is the angelic form.. these are good spirits.. whether or not they had a physical body (much like we have) is hard to tell, but I've never known it.
The other kind is the opposite.. Demons. They may not be inherently evil, but this is definately how they act. Again I am unsure if they ever lived a lifetime in a physical body.
Then there is the spririt. Spirits are people like us. We die and go on from our human/animal bodies. We either pass happily or grumpilly. And then there are the times when someone dies but isn't really away of it, they're the nuetral spirits. Of course there happens to be some that die, but won't accept it, and are assholes to the rest of us. but again these are all under the category that fits us as we live, die.... but our spirits move on for something greater.

If there are spirits that want to you help, you. then there are spirits that want to "help" you.. which would fall under that demon category. I have witnessed many things spiritually in my lifetime that I doubt few ever will. Some things are so much.. that even I want to doubt myself. I'm not telling you to believe me when I say that demons exist.. but from my experiences, they most definately do.

I still think for the purposes of debate... and talking in general its a lot better to not tell someone that they are wrong, but to tell them that you think it actually is something else. It leads to more debate and less arguement/hate. Just my 2 cents on the matter.

I can understand why you would consider the "dark" spirits to be demons- Spirits never intentially harm you, but can. That is why some think of them as "demons". That's where we create "evil" and "satanic", "good" and "bad".
I have felt dark spirits around me, and the thing is not to be afraid of them. I have taken the patience to help them see that they need to follow the light. Once I have done that, whether it take one night or one year, I can feel their spirit has been released and are no longer visiting me.
What I am trying to say is that what seem like "demons" come across as intentionally haunting, targeting to hurt, etc. but that they are full of anger and frustration, mainly trapped in a void space in which they have given up or confused at not being able to leave that void space- being trapped in the middle of the physical life and the after life. The Soul didn't quite make it to the other side, and they are merely trying to find a way out, but what they are seeing is the physical life- their previous life that they were in and wondering why they aren't there and how to get back there, and also why other people are where they should be. That turns into frustration and even anger. We merely have to "face the demons", so to speak, and guide them to the other side, so that their soul can be replenished and move on.
That may just be my view, but being angry or afraid of these spirits won't help them at all. They are just lost, looking for their home.
