So I know this is going to sound a little bit roundabout connection wise, but it's true. The insident was published in the newspaper of the town it happened in. One of my friend's mother's friends was babsitting one of her friends kids. After the sitter had put the kids to bed, their mother called. She asked how the kids were and the sitter told her they were great; however, could the mother please put the clown statue away next time, because it freaked her out. There was a pause on the other end of the line. The mother responded by saying " Get the kids out of the house and call 911. We don't have a clown statue". So the sitter called the police from a neighbors house. When the cops were investigating, they found out that the statue was actually a midget who had escaped from a mental institution and been living in their house for six months!! Six months of eating their food, sleeping in their house, using their showers, and PLAYING WITH THEIR KIDS! I guess the kids had said stuff like "we don't want to go to school. We're playing with the clown". Being 3 and 5, the parents dismissed that as an imaginary friend. How creepy is that??

Actually, it was not a joke. And I guess the parents didn't notice because their house was large enough to provide hiding spaces for Mr. Midget Clown. So if mysterious statues show up in your house, poke them with really long sticks to make sure they're not alive...

And a newspaper article doesn't necessarily prove it. Small town newspapers print all sorts of shit.

Google turns up zip. Don't you think something like this (bizare chilling story that it is) would at least warrant some mention on the internet? Some mention beyond Snopes that is; a site that completely debunks the legend.


But then again, we shouldn't expect anything less from the Paranoia board. That's what it's here for, after all!

I have heard multiple versions of this story, and it is obviously just an urban legand. Some versions I heard, the clown was six feet tall, others were shorter. Some versions had the clown only living in the house for a few weeks.

Since I read this post, whenever I wake up in the night I'll lie there still for a while, then the thought will just flash into my mind:
