my gf was walking the other day...
 

and she encountered a 65 yr. old woman who told her that everything is going to be okay and that i would patch things up with her parents, she also gave her a blue stone saying it represents me because thats my favorite color. well, thats the story, it doesnt have much to do w/ 'sexuality' but i didnt know where else to post it. well, when i heard this i was pretty shocked because things b/w her parents and i are bad and i do indeed need to go patch things up, oh and blue is my favorite color.
my question to you is, did my gf make this up, or... do random people on the street that are tarot card readers know the lives of other people? pretty freaky i'd say, what do you think?

those are kinda too coincidental for her to be crazy. i would take it as a sign to patch things up with her folks.

Something similar happened to my Mum once. There are some psychic people out there and they're usually crazy as well. Try eating your cereal while you're looking through binoculars and you'll see why.

Chances are pretty good that a girl has a boyfriend. Chances are extremely good that her boyfriend is on shaky ground with her parents. And most guys like blue. I'd say she's a good guesser.

You should pull the same thing and watch her reaction.

ummm..what the crap! If that is true, I want to go to Toys R' Us and buy one of those freaky little ladies....i mean c'mon, if i had one of those, i could be awesome and tell people their fortunes that i get from my creepy old lady :) Man I wouldnt be able to sleep at night if that is true. What if she comes in the middle of the night and stares at you while you sleep...gives me the hebe jee bes. But bery weird.

I'm with the "lucky guess, nonetheless creepy" camp. If she gets her guess right, people freak out. If she gets the guess wrong, she's just another senile old lady. I still think its a cool coincidence.

Isn't it entirely possible the lady at that or some other time overheard your girlfriend in a concersation about how you don't get on well with the parentals and she just guessed at the color.

Or maybe you have a first-class stalker on your hands. Either way, I'm skeptical as to her psychic abilities...

She's obviously some sort of soothsayer who can see into the lives of strangers and pass out magical stones to protect them.

or...

She's just an old lady who's got a good racket going, maybe so good that she's convinced herself.

I think its a very EASY coincidence. Your gf is probably the third gal she's passed it on that day.
