Wierd coincidences/Astronomical events

I like to think of myself as a very Skeptical person, but lately I've been noticing more and more wierd stuff happening around full moons and other notable astronomical events. This wkend we had a total lunar eclipse and there were so many wierd little coincidences happening all wkend. Any thoughts?

My wife works in the emergency room at one of the local hospitals, when there is a full moon they get more mental/crazy patients coming in. on an average week they see 3-5 a week on her shift, on a full moon night, more like 10-15

Its all mental...literally. Lunar cycles and other events can effect you,,,if you believe they can.

The tides rise and fall as affected by the gravity of the moon. It is also related to women's menstral cycyles, so I doubt it is just a mental thing. Well, I'm sure it IS mental, but probably nothng you can control.

There definately is an increase is strange or weird things happening during the full moon. I've worked in photlabs for 10 years and the strangest customers and photos show up around full moons.

I think it has something to do with the magnetic pull of the full moon on the earth. It screws with our own electro-magnetic field that throws our brains off balance.

I wondered if it had something to do with gravity. The net magnitude of the gravity of the Moon and the Sun at the Earth's surface is furthest from its average when they are aligned with the Earth, ie. at a full or new moon.

it only happens because you look for it. if i consciously looked for the number 7, i'd see it everywhere too.

YES, I AGREE. You will not believe this coincedence.

Last month we experienced a total lunar eclipse........and on the very same night the earth lined up directly between both the sun and the moon! I'm not kidding, at the exact same time! I almost crapped myself! I immediately ran into my apartment and started packing my belongings. I was sure the mother ship was coming and she wasn't going to be waiting around too long! Run for your life!
