The AC here is controlled by spirits!
 

My AC randomly turns off and on, and I can exactly predict when it does so. I get a cold shiver and it either turns off or on. It uses an older thermostat with the mercury vile thing that hits the trigger wires when the coil is the right temperature. This is really creepy and it makes it hard to get to sleep since I can predict the damn thing. Anyone have anything like this happen?

This apartment is probably haunted for all I know :p

Yeah come to think of it...mine does the same thing. Whenever I get a chill my AC turns off, and then after some time passes I break a sweat out of nowhere, and then my AC turns on!! Freaky. :p

Maybe you've got considerate spirits, eh? Like the ghost of a butler? Or just some faulty wiring or soemthing. Get a new AC and see if it still happens.

Well, it always turns on *after* sex, instead of during it, when we need it!! Even if we turn it way down. I swear, I think the ac is just jealous.
