Western/cowboy kind of thing
Where can I get some (preferabbly free) music that has a western frontier, cowboy riding into the sunset, campfire kind of thing going on.
I think Wild Arms (3) had some at the beginning (didn't really play it). It might have whistles, but the notes are pretty long and fluid. No lyrics. |
Check out soundtracks to "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly"; or anything from the Ennio Moriconne spaghetti western days.

For sort of a cowboy ballad slash new age alterna country you could check out the Tom russell band- they just put out a new compilation album, that I listened to at 3am last week while running errands- was suprisingly good, and I have to once again thank college radio dj's with eclectic tastes.......
