Music I've Been Listening To
Ok, I don't really know why I really decided to post this but I'm doing it anyways.
I made this just to talk about some music that I've listening to recently that I was to talk about. First of which would have to be a band called Everlast, this group has some insane music IMO since they tend to give this new country hip-hop style that I tend to hear, they just have a great sound to them and their lead singer (by the name of Whitey I believe) has an amazing gutty type of voice that mixes well with the type of music, I mean, its awesome since they don't always sing about their riches and glory, but they just sing about their lives and the simple struggles. Another group I've listened to that interests me quite a bit, is The Cat Empire and GoodShirt (both are Australian bands I believe) they have a great sound too them, very good sound that seems different, kinda like a little Oasis and some Heavy Indie. I can't stop listening to BEP's new album Monkey Business for the fact their music is very attractive and great the dance to. I posted earlier of Nickel Creek so I believe see my opionion on that, I mean for a bluegrass group, they sound awesome and Chris Thile is probably a musical genius ![]() also, DJ Lady Tribe has some kickin music that I love to listen to, If anyone knows about any good mixes or CD compilations from here, lemme know because I think she's got skill as a DJ. Acoustic Alchemy is great music to work or relax to, all acoustical without voices, great music. Well! My ranting is done. Hope I don't get yelled at ![]() |

Everlast was the lead singer(?) for House of Pain (remember Jump Around?). I've only heard Whitey Ford Sings The Blues, and that's a pretty solid CD, but if he has anything else out I'm unaware, though interested. Outside of BEP, I've not heard of anything else you mentioned. |

Well, I think there's like 3 CDs by Everlast, I borrowed Whitey Ford Sings the Blues and also Eat at Whitey's which is a good CD as well, but IMO it couldn't stand up to WFStB (acronyms

If I ever have spending money again I'll have to get the other Everlast CDs as well. Thanks for the recommendations. |
