SURVIVOR Game--A HARD DAY'S NIGHT, Round 2
 

The rules of the game: Vote to kick off one song each day. I'll be back here around 11:00 A.M. CDT each day (unless work interrupts) and count up the votes and start the next round. We'll play all round in this heading.

If I Fell.

This sounds interesting. I had to dig the CD out and listen to a few of them because it's been awhile since I've played the album, but I knew immediately that this was one of my least favorites...and after listening, I kept the same opinion.

WHEN I GET HOME

If for no other reason than the line with "until the cows come home." However, being the weakest in this group of songs is no real sin.

Ok, we're getting some stirring here now--GREAT!

This will stay up until 11:00 or so tomorrow, and then the next round will start, even if we just have 4 votes. I'm hoping for more; maybe it will pick up.

Tough to boot any of those tunes.

Round one is over, and two songs were eliminated by virtue of the tie. That leave us with these for Round two, which will end tomorrow around 1:00 PM CDT:

I don't either usually, but the other day I caught 'it' in my zipper. Oh man, seriously welled up!

This GREAT CD (or LP) winds up with two of the weakest tracks in the running order, separated by the marvelous "You Can't Do That."

But when those two are the weakest, it's a pretty fine album, it is!

Man, I'm Happy Just To Dance With You is one of my fav's from that album.

Is it too late to vote? I'll vote anyway...If I Fell...again.

"I'll Be Back" won't be, at least not in this game.

Can't Buy Me Love, for the same reason Janey mentioned.

I'll try to come up with some vehicle to generate discussions here. I've used these games, and others, as a variation of the old "what's your favorite song?" routines.
