"Wonderful Tonight" Eric Clapton. Women LOVE this song; guaranteed to be a thigh-opener!

if you can play it then Marvin Gaye's "Let's Get It On" isn't a bad choice

I DJ'd a few weddings and these always seem to be favorites for "first songs" But, you can slow dance to them. Here's a mix of genres along with some other songs you might be able to use;

K-Ci & Jo-Jo - All My Life
TRacy Byrd - Keeper Of The Stars
Bryan Adams - Everything I do
Boyz II Men - On Bended Knee
Righteous Brothers - Unchained Melody
Patsy Cline - Crazy
Randy TRavis - Forever & Ever, Amen
Bette Midler - Widn Beneath My Wings
Luther Vandross - Here & Now
All 4 One - I Swear (Also by John Micheal Montogmery)
Peter Gabriel - In Your Eyes
Chicago - You're my Inspiration
HArry Connick Jr - It Had To Be You
Extreme - More Than Words
Billy Joel - She's Got A Way
Kenny Chesney - You Had Me At Hello
Billy Ocean - Suddenly *( A Fav of Mine)
Mr Big - To Be With You
Micheal Jackson - You Are Not Alone
Donnel Jones - I Wanna Love You
Jill Scott - True Colors
Norah Jones - Don't Know Why
John Mayer - Your Body Is a Wonderland
Sixpence None The Richer - Don;t Dream It's Over (Crwoded House Cover)
Daniel Bedinglfeild - If Your Not The One
Five for Fighting - Superman
Uncle Kracker - Drift Away (Dobie Gray Cover)
EArth, Wind, & Fire - After The Love Is Gone
Enrique Iglesias - Hero
Kid Rock & Sheryl Crow - Picture

Hope this helps

Ehh, the actual prom dance is just filler time inbetween leaving the house and eventually being drunk. Just throw in "Saturday Night Fever" and call it a night.

eli--- seeing that your in T.O what about some home grown talent. Maybe "All We Are" from Kim Mitchell or even "Wonderful Goodbye" by Amanda Marshall.
