Anyone going to shows on the U2 tour.
 

Wondering if anyone out there is a U2 fan and who's going to shows...just got my 8th show of the tour this morning....

Yeah I'm driving all the way to Vancouver April 29th to see them.

bah!!! i'm still kind of ticked that they aren't coming to Portland this time around. i have to work the next day and have no vacation time yet, so i can't go to it. i'm just trying to pretend that it doesn't bug me.

Damn, I wish. Last I saw them was in Oakland. 94? Better catch another show soon, before Bono is tied up with international finance.

They're finishing off the second leg of the tour in Portland, so I'm just going to wait for that. :)

Yup...ending third leg of the tour in Portland...Just picked up Boston in Oct today, to go with 2 Anaheim, 3 spring Boston shows, Philly and London...need the second Boston and Hartford...

Tickets were going for as high as $2,000 on ebay for a show near me. So, no thanks. I think I'd rather pay off my car loan.

Good Lord, man. How can you afford that? I would love to see them again, but the ticket prices are just too damn high. And before someone says that they have cheap tickets, I am not going to sit so high that I can't even see the band. I did that for Fleetwood Mac and it sucked. It would have been better to sit at home and listen to their CD's instead.

I have a friend who is working on their tour. He is with the lighting company. I used to work with him lighting concert stages a few years back. I am probably going to fly out and see them for a week. I am looking forward to it, having never seen them before.

Ya, did it before when he was with the smashing pumpkins. Saw them at three different venues in Cali. Also did it when he and another guy I knew were working with Madonna in early 1993. She was out supporting "Erotica" at the time. Took about a week and saw 3 shows. Never got to meet her though. Great shows.
