Someone in Texas stole Camper Van Beethoven's gear!
 

I really like Camper Van Beethoven, and it turns out that someone in Texas stole much of their gear... and this is gear that was replacing the gear stolen from them a couple months ago! So, I guess keep an eye out for people trying to unload the gear described in this link:

On the home page only half the title shows so I read "Someone in Texas stole Camper.." and thought "Why the hell is he posting about a camper in Music?"

This happens to these guys constantly....they got ripped off in Montreal last summer...how 'bout hiring some security, guys?

I read that they parked the semi with the back door against a wall... the only thing is, the people who stole their stuff actually cut a hole into the side of the semi.

They did mention something about having their website guy sleep with the gear now.

The last time was in Montreal? They must have a lot of gear-stealin' going on, the same thing happened there to The Moldy Peaches... here are some lyrics Kimya Dawson (of the Moldy Peaches) wrote about it in the song "Anthrax":

Man, they keep getting jacked left and right. Sucks to see a great band that was broken up for so long get back together only to get fucked over repeatedly.

I had no idea they were still around anymore anyway. That suck for them, maybe they'd feel better if they took some skinheads bowling.
