What song makes you happy?
So many of you seem to be depressing people. So, what zone instantly makes you happy?
A few of mine are: Flowers on the Wall-Statler Brothers Sunshine, Lollipops, and Rainbows-Lesley Gore The entire Barney Boogie album-Barney Collaborations- KJ-52 |
Most of the stuff I write does it for me, but other than that:

Any song by Lucky, Otis, Charles Jr, Lefty, and Nelson.
Bonus points to whoever can figure that group out. Also alot of Oldies make you just feel awesome. Not the slow, crappy ones, but the nice, fast moving, upbeat, almost rock-and-roll in a way oldies. |
"A Kiss to Build a Dream On" by Louise Armstrong. I first heard it in the opening FMV for Fallout 2, and have loved that song ever since.
|
CityOf Angels, that's my husband's and my song!! :) :) :)
|
Blind Melon -- "No Rain"
I know it's kind of a sad song, but it always makes me feel good...probably because I'm not a heroin addict. |
"Any song by Lucky, Otis, Charles Jr, Lefty, and Nelson.

A spoonful weighs a ton ~ by The Flaming Lips
And though they were sad they rescued everyone They lifted up the sun A spoonful weighs a ton Giving more than they had The process had begun A million came from one The limits now were none Being drunk on their plan, they lifted up the sun Forcing it off with their hands The trap door came undone Above our heads it swung The privilege had been won Being drunk on their plan, they lifted up the sun Yelling as hard as they can The doubters all were stunned Heard louder than a gun The sound they made was love |
