Any Gomez fans?
 

I've been into these guys for the last couple years and I finally got the chance to see them live on Friday night. They blew me away!! Six guys up on stage, 2 drum kits, 3-4 guitars, a couple bass, keyboards and other misc. instruments thrown together with at least 3 different voices. They put out a great wall of sound, I ate it up.

Great time was had by all. :thumbsup:

heard them the other day on WFUV (the radio station out of Fordham University in New York). Pretty good stuff. Any recommended tracks?

Tijuana Lady, Get Myself Arrested, Whippin' Piccadilly, Fill My Cup, The whole "In Our Gun" album as well as their latest "Split the Difference"

In Our gun is my favourite though, the whole thing is brilliant.

new album 'split the difference' is great so it's nice to see a band that can keep getting better

I love these guys, I think they've got a pretty unique sound that makes them stand out. I haven't heard their newest album though; I've been meaning to check it out.

I've been getting into them for the past week or so. They are one of those bands that has a sound that is very difficult to describe, considering each song is very unique to the others before and after it. They are great songwriters.

Wow, there is other Gomez fans out there!!!! I am listening to them right now!! I have seen them three times. It's a cheap ticket, but damn they put on one hell of a show!!! I my oppion the most under rated band around!!!!
