sounds like mudvayne?
 

I've been looking for harder sounding music. Just wanted to know if anyone knows some bands that have the same 'sound' as mudvayne, slipknot, etc. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Check out Mushroomhead. They are compared to Slipknot a lot, because there are like 8 guys in the band and they wear masks, but I think they sound more like Mudvayne. (They've been around much longer than Slipknot also.)

Gah, I hate Mushroomhead... check out Nothingface of you want some Mud-sounding shit. They play in crazy time signatures liek Mud... the best album to get is either Violence or Skeletons (although Skeletons isn't as hard, so go with Violence.)

those bands are all hard while maintaining melodies as well.
that seems to be what ur lookin for cause i know both slipknot and mudvanye do so.

if you want something harder then any of these check out dillinger or converage or skycamefalling etc...

respond back once uve tried this stuff- let me ( us ) no what u think, maybe we can narrow it down a bit more for ya.
