Vote For Change tour
Has anyone heard about this? I've heard Bruce Springsteen getting lots of shit for doing this. I myself am happy that I live in a battleground state, which is where these artists are going to be focused for about a week in early October. I was excited to see that Pearl Jam and Death Cab For Cutie are playing less than ten miles from where I live. On the same day in my state (Michigan) Bruce Springsteen, R.E.M., John Mellencamp, Bonnie Raitt and, I think, James Taylor are playing in various cities.
It must be rough for people who want to see these people but don't like where their money would go (to help unseat Bush). http://www.moveonpac.org/vfc/ featuring: Pearl Jam Bruce Springsteen R.E.M. Dave Matthews Band Jurassic 5 Dixie Chicks Death Cab for Cutie James Taylor Ben Harper My Morning Jacket Jackson Browne Bonnie Raitt John Fogerty Keb' Mo' Bright Eyes John Mellencamp Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds ...and more |
Sponsored by Move On? I'll pass.

I would like to see some of those groups, even if I would vote for Bush and be putting money toward a (IMO)questionable case,
I'm hoping I get a chance to see Springsteen. I saw him for the first time on his last tour and it was one of the greatest shows I've ever been to. He's going to be taking the E Street band with him right?

i really want to see death cab, the only problem is the Toledo Sports arena seats roughly 7500 people...and with pearl jam on the bill, tickets=gone in seconds.
I'd love to see James Taylor in Iowa City, but I couldn't stomach the Dixie Chicks.
Forget Springsteen, I want to see Jurassic 5!
Damn, J5 isn't coming to the Twin Cities.
Not interested. Thanks though.
