did a quick search and didn't find anything ...

can anyone suggest songs that sound good on an acoustic, aren't too difficult to play and sing at the same time and lots of people should know?

amongst others we listed:
a lot of Kinks songs
Led Zeppelin / Tangerine
Britney Spears / Hit Me Baby One More Time
a few David Bowie songs
Iggy Pop / The Passenger

any more suggestions please? thanks guys

Back in college me and a friend played a few acoustic sets (for money of course!)
and a few songs on our setlists were:

Alice in chains - Got Me Wrong
Alice in chains - Nutshell
Alice in chains - No Excuses
Sublime - What I got
O.A.R. - That Was a Crazy Game of Poker
Staind - Outside
Jimi Hendrix - Who Knows (not really your typical acoustic song but if you get it down it's money)
Nirvana - About a Girl
Dave Matthews - What Would You Say

and a bunch of our own original songs.
