i think the dictators did a fine graduation song in "birth school work death"
the university i work at just held graduation a couple weeks ago--judgin from public house jukebox choices and party ambineces that i passed by, the current faves seemed to be obvious like alice cooper's "school's out".
i would probably include black star's "self-determination" somewhere on your mix. and gang starr's "manifest" just because it is such a great pop song. in fact, i would probably give up trying to find explicitly graduation-oriented material pretty quickly and would make a mix of stuff that i like alot.
